Volunteers

Do you have some spare time? Are you looking for experience and skills to enhance your chances of getting into paid employment? Or would you like to increase your confidence and get to know more people? If so, then volunteering for Cara could be just what you are looking for.

Volunteers play a valuable role in the delivery of services offered by the Cara Trust. The involvement of volunteers means we can respond to the needs of our service users in a flexible and dynamic way and service users enjoy receiving a service and meeting people from all walks of life.

We currently have volunteers helping as cooks, fundraising, in office admin, writing newsletters, as complementary therapists, helping set up and meet and greet at support groups, running activities in groups and as counsellors.

Roles we are currently recruiting for include: Complementary Therapists (particularly massage), Small Grants (fundraising) volunteers, Senior Service volunteers and a Fundraising volunteer to help the Director.
