'World Aids Day and the work of organisations like Cara are crucial if we want to inform and support those who are either living with or are at risk of HIV.  We must all recognise there is a problem to be addressed and work in partnership to tackle the growing crisis for all communities world-wide.'

There are a range of services to choose from at CARA. These include: social, spiritual and emotional support; advice and advocacy; financial support applications; complementary therapies; retreats and social activities; Counselling; home and hospital visiting. CARA also provides an information library and information events. Well established peer support groups are operated for women, older people, and gay men; with Friday's group open to all.

Cara's HIV focused education work with Faith Communities provide an opportunity for lay people and clergy from various traditions to respond creatively to the challenge of HIV in our world.
